POSITION SUMMARY

The Director – Product Management is primarily responsible for the operations, management and continued commercialization of value-based solutions, managing 4-6 concurrent product efforts. This position will also lead optimization of these products through additional business and IT initiatives, provide leadership to a diverse team, and manage cross-functionally. The Director – Product Management will work closely with Supply Chain sales support team on upsell opportunities, the consultant relations team, and the strategy team on the development of new products. This position is responsible for managing the product after launch, focused on the delivery of value-based margin targets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Contributes to determining strategic direction of the areas of dedication.
  • Key department deliverables: Challenge the status quo in search of new processes, ideas, technology to move us forward faster to favorable competitive position.
  • Generate innovative ideas and solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations while driving efficiencies and promoting differentiation in the marketplace.
  • Lead role in providing visibility to key stakeholders on the health of the programs and presenting data to many stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with sales and account management, marketing, new sales, and other departments as needed.
  • Consults with department on issues needing functional expertise or complex product knowledge.
  • Communicates product needs to cross-functional partners, including marketing needs, training, modeling, and reporting.
  • Establish and execute internal SOPs and playbooks for the team.
  • Determine content and new core competencies as the department evolves to meet new challenges of the business.
  • Responsible for consistency of quality interactions within the department.
  • Develop and maintain SGRX growth strategies for Sales support deployment, along with creating custom strategic offerings for our key clients to take advantage of Safeguard.
  • This leader will manage the enhancement, streamlining and maintaining the current SGRX website to include enrollment and quarterly clinical program performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 16 to 20 years of experience.
  • 10 to 14 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree and 8 to 12 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated initiative, independent thinker and worker.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Comfortable working with numerical data and information.
  • Analytical and logical.
  • Able to develop hypotheses and conclusions while identifying assumptions.
  • Does not jump to conclusions.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Advanced problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to define, scope, analyzes and resolves strategic issues.
  • Willingness to share opinions and take risk.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage work load and meet project deadlines.
