Overview:[

Peraton is seeking a Junior Project Manager. In this role, you will support our business area with knowledge management and assist in our method of providing standardized processes and structure to our business accounts. This position will support our operations and administrative tasks as part of the customer facing component of our company; Tasks will involve analysis and assessment of operations, business processes, supporting information systems and practices to identify opportunities for improved performance, and increased efficiencies and effectiveness within our business area.

What you’ll do…
  • You’ll perform evaluations and tests of multiple hardware configurations
  • You’ll configure multiple components to meet differing documented requirements
  • You’ll learn about the exciting technology of Software Defined Radios

Qualifications:


You’d be a great fit if…
  • Identifying and tracking process improvements for our business area and customer accounts
  • Ability to assist on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into practical information that improves our business area processes
  • Monitor project status, identify risk/issues and suggest solutions
  • Creating standard operating procedures, records internally at company and as customer deliverables
  • Ability to prepare for and scribe meeting minutes; must have good speaking and communication skills
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite 2016 (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Facilitate and monitor the use and improvement of common knowledge management processes and approaches across our business area.

It would be even better if you…
  • Bachelor’s Degree related to business or management
  • At least 2-years of work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent Communication Skills


SECURITY CLEARANCE:

This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. In order to obtain a clearance, you need to be a U.S. Citizen and show proof of citizenship.
