Requirements and Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited interior design program
• Experience in interior design or related field
• Advanced working knowledge in the following computer programs: AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, presentation and written skills
• Strong organizational skills – Detailed minded and deadline oriented
• Portfolio Required

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with design team in developing presentations, concepts and budgets for new projects.
• Create detailed working drawing sets including floor plans, elevations and space planning in Auto-CAD.
• Develop plans, elevations and architectural details that illustrate the design intent and use of materials
• Develop space plans that are responsive to and conform to the client lifestyle requirements
• Create 3D renderings in SketchUp
• Create finish schedules
• Request quotes and estimates from vendors
• Work independently on material and furniture selections based on project requirements
• Take initiative, problem solve, collaborate and communicate effectively with design team
• Develop, prepare and produce quality presentations
• Lead or assist with installations
• Manage client, consultant and vendor relationships
• When required; travel, work evenings or weekends for industry conferences or client projects
