Healthcare IT Integration Project Manager

Position Summary:

The Healthcare IT Integration Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Cadwell equipment at specific sites in a manner that delights our customers. This includes training, managing and supporting implementation field personnel, establishing and maintaining detailed installation procedures, creating appropriate customer facing installation documentation, acting as a project manager for specific installations, and coordinating both customer and internal activities leading to installation success.

Key Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Works as the primary representative and go-to resource for specific customers implementing Cadwell software and hardware products
  • Coordinates and schedules Cadwell resources as necessary to support implementation activities
  • Hold regular project meetings with customers to ensure project timelines are met
  • Create customer facing installation documentation including project plans, training agendas, go-live checklists, etc.
  • Participates in internal continuous improvement efforts related to the implementation process
  • As necessary, install and configure Cadwell software on customer servers and PCs (on the job training provided)
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a project management role required
  • Experience with networked hospital system or similar deployment a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
  • Experience with or a working understanding of the Mirth Interface Engine a plus

Skills / Job Knowledge / Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to drive successful projects comprised of cross-functional teams is required
  • Basic knowledge of networking and Windows Server
  • Elevated attention to detail and organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with remote teams
  • Strong project management skills
  • Must be able to adapt to changing requirements, deadlines, and priorities
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills before small groups to clearly communicate technical information required
  • Experience in a healthcare environment or with healthcare information systems a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to meetings and/or customers is required
  • Requires the following physical activities: reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and talking
