Position Summary:
Oversees the Patient Financial Services department identifying issues with billing edits due to charge issues. Resolves billing issues when new procedures and/or supplies are introduced. Monitors regulatory and market conditions and implements appropriate workflows and processes to support efficient, compliant and patient-friendly departmental policies and procedures. Tracks, monitors and reports trends of second level clinical appeals to senior management.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, preferred. Associates Degree required. Must have a minimum of three years patient financial services management experience in a hospital setting. Minimum of five years hospital and/or physician revenue cycle operations in a health care environment.
