Digital Marketing Director

The Digital Marketing Director will drive and execute on digital strategies on all channels, for both B2B and B2C audiences as needed. This team member will provide consistent reporting, recommendations and testing strategies for digital marketing initiatives, with an eye toward best practices, analytics, metrics and emerging technologies.

The Digital Marketing Director will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring HRG’s large and active social media presence for both B2B and B2C audiences, including content and creative development and community engagement, as well as working alongside vendors to execute paid social campaigns. This person will support maintenance of HRG’s website, including basic HTML and page edits within the CMS, and contribute to conversion optimization, lead capture and lead nurturing strategy, content marketing and management, print marketing, social media marketing, reputation management, email marketing, content marketing support for outreach and events, and internal communications.

As part of this role, the digital marketing director will be responsible for managing large scale digital projects and initiatives (including website projects and initiation and deployment of new marketing material) and must be comfortable and familiar with creating project plans, from executing a project brief to creating and managing timelines, to executing deliverables on-time and on-budget.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and contribute to social media strategy, execution, performance and community management
  • Lead SEO efforts, quality link-building and technical and content-driven SEO strategies and implementation by working closely with content and development partners and team members
  • Help launch and support B2B/B2C marketing initiatives and strategies
  • Work closely with B2B/B2C teams to provide resources and support their outreach efforts
  • Lead branding and marketing material efforts, including digital and print material.
  • Manage and deliver email marketing strategies and email campaign execution
  • Ensure HRG is following best practices and staying ahead of the curve with digital marketing trends and tactics
  • Work closely with PPC Specialist and other Digital Marketing Specialists and Managers to develop integrated campaign strategies and monitor their results
  • Develop and maintain brand standards across all web properties, campaigns, print material, social media and paid media placements
  • Promote and support events and new location openings for B2B/B2C audiences
  • Work closely with marketing team to execute on digital components of product / service launches for B2B/B2C audiences
  • Provide consistent reporting, analysis and recommendations to executive management
  • Develop marketing content for social media, website, paid media, collateral and email marketing
  • Implement website content changes and periodically review website for functionality and accuracy of information
  • Develop and execute a quality link-building and listing strategy for listing the company websites across relevant websites to drive quality traffic and phone calls
  • Develop, execute and monitor a strategy for paid ads across relevant websites and directory listings to drive quality traffic and phone calls
  • Work with executive management to define departmental and cross-departmental marketing processes, identify efficiencies and opportunities for automation
  • Monitor Google Analytics and other reporting platforms to gain insight into campaign and SEO/SEM performance, and develop useful reporting dashboards for executive management
  • Work with third-party vendors to support marketing initiatives
  • Identify and implement opportunities for testing, conversion optimization and continuous improvement on websites and across multiple web and social media platforms
  • Contribute ideas, strategies and recommendations as a digital expert in team and cross-departmental environments.
  • Plan, execute and manage special marketing projects as needed
  • Perform regular audits of website content, website functionality and SEO performance, and provide and execute on recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in hands-on digital marketing role
  • Understanding of SEO/SEM and content marketing best practices, trends and regulatory considerations
  • Expert knowledge of social media strategy and implementation on all major platforms
  • Expert ability to manage large and active social media communities in a strategic manner
  • Experience with email marketing strategy and campaign management, including template building and usage, list segmentation and hygiene, and analysis of campaign success
  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO/SEM tools such as SEMRush, Moz, etc.
  • Ability to write and optimize website and marketing copy based on keyword research, brand requirements and brand voice
  • Strong writing and copyediting skills (AP Style familiarity preferred)
  • Experience making data-driven decisions using analytics, A/B testing, and campaign-specific reports and dashboards
  • Working knowledge of PPC and email marketing strategies, and how organic/earned campaigns interact with paid and email strategies
  • Ability to proactively manage projects, and collaborate with team members and external vendors to meet goals and deadlines in an organized and self-driven manner
  • Experience managing larger-scale projects with cross-departmental stakeholders efficiently; ability to create and execute project plans

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Analytics certification
  • Experience in healthcare or multi-location marketing landscapes
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and light programming
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with Email marketing and related platforms (ConstantContact, MailChimp, etc)
  • Experience with project management platforms
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related degree
  • Familiarity with paid social media channels
