The Fidelity Healthcare (HC) Technology group is activelyseeking an experienced DevOps Technologist to assist with software engineeringacross multiple applications servicing our internal and external businesspartners and clients.
The Purpose of Your Role
As the Director of DevOps within the Fidelity HealthcareTechnology Digital Experience team you will be a hands-on leader. Primarilypassionate about driving the adoption of industry standard methodologies inautomated build, deployment and reporting for the organization. While enablingseamless automation of deployment through our Fidelity Container as a Serviceand Internal/External cloud platforms.
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, Masters a plus
- 8+ years’ experience in Enterprise Application Deployment Automation and DevOps implementations.
- Experience in Enterprise level Cloud Based Application Development and deployment
- Experience with DevOps tools like Concourse, Jenkins, Artifactory etc.
- Confirmed understanding of DAST and SAST integration in an automated pipeline.
- Experience in cloud application deployment automation patterns and various scripting languages
- Validated experience in containerization strategy leveraging tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
The Skills You Bring
- Proficient in core languages such as Node.js and Java, as well as strong knowledge of Jenkins declarative pipeline syntax, as well as *nix environments.
- Hands-on experience of CI/CD pipelines for both on prem and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of 12 Factor application principles, API Design and containerization.
- Familiarity of application deployment and management patterns such as blue/green, canary, etc.
- Experience with application security scanning integration and reporting.
- Ability to implement observability standards for logging, monitoring, alerting, and other operational aspects of cloud applications.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and direction to the development, QA and support teams to execute DevSecOps strategies.
- You have excellent presentation, documentation, communication and influencing skills, as well as skills which present/influence technology direction in business context to the partners.

- Identifying functional & non-functional requirements that are not currently met by the required capabilities and advocate solutions to address these gaps. Applying appropriate approaches to assessing trade-offs among architectural goals
- Actively participating in planning, definition, design & integration of pipeline services releases working with other BU SME’s/Architects as required to assure consistency of product development and adoption of the product asset base across the product line
- Owning the implementation of generic common components/services aspects of pipelines, which may include applications, infrastructure, security and/or database strategies
- Participating in defining the enforcement of coding standards for the team as well as implementing a strong internal, repeatable DevSecOps process
- Establishing links with development teams with quick alignment of value and understanding of the business and technology
