Casa de las Campanas, an exceptional life plan retirement community, is seeking an Admissions professional to join our Health Center team. Your duties would include but not be limited to: Establishing and maintaining open and effective communications between our 99 bed skilled nursing facility and sources of potential patients such as the referring public, consumers, physicians, families, discharge planners and third party payers. Once a potential patient is identified you will be responsible for the initial screening, the admissions process and input regarding the transfer and discharge process for all patients to and from the Health Center for all payer types. You will be responsible for obtaining authorizations needed for level of care changes, new services etc. Position has extensive interaction with interdisciplinary team.
If you have at least two years of proven experience in doing admissions for a fast paced skilled nursing or long term care facility then we want to hear from you! Knowledge of Medicare and managed care required. Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills and attention to detail required.
