Your mission
Your mission will be to assist the founder & COO to maximize his time while he runs two rapidly-growing, early-stage companies. His leadership approach is extremely hands-on, with a big-picture approach, often jumping in to understand or work directly on the most critical projects at any given time in order to move the company closer to its mission. As such, this position requires someone who is able to work in sync with him, is a quick learner, strong researcher, and flexible with their time. Your responsibilities will also include calendar management, arranging travel, preparing expense reports, attending meetings, liaising directly with co-founders, team members, investors, and customers. To be successful in this role, you should be incredibly well organized, detail oriented, and have excellent time-management skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and is eager to take on ever-increasing responsibility. What you’ll do:
- Manage our COO’s calendar, helping juggle his professional and personal activities
- Communicate directly and on behalf of the COO with, employees, customers, and other external stakeholders
- Make travel and accommodation arrangements
- Serve as the COO’s administrative liaison to his direct reports, staff, and manage meeting or work activities
- Complete research projects assigned
- Prepare weekly, monthly, or quarterly expense reports
- Drafting emails, compile data, format information for internal and external communication â memos, emails, presentations, reports
- Perform various administrative activities and personal errands as needed
- Take notes during meetings
- This position represents the COO in all situations and holds themselves to the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
Who we’re looking for:
- Prior experience as a PA, EA, office, or administrative assistant
- Excellent MS Office knowledge, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You communicate clearly and professionally – written and interpersonal
- You’re ingenious when it comes to finding solutions and streamlining processes for efficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners.
- You have strong project management skills; have the ability to assess priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- You’re personable, flexible, and adaptable
- You have a strong work ethic and are hungry to learn
- Occasional work during evenings (US time) and weekends is required, as is some minimal travel

- 14 years of work experience across capital markets trading, executive management
- His 3rd company. Both of his previous companies have been successful with the latest growing to 100+ employees after 2.5 years.
- Currently leads the vision, strategy, growth, marketing operations, product management, business operations for Playhaus
