SUMMARY
The Account Manager develops high-level relationships to serve as a trusted advisor in promoting the Company’s technology solutions to drive customer business outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Knowledgeable about Altruista Health products and services
- Meet regularly with clients to build effective, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across multiple segments of the organization
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of the client’s business, including short-term and long-term objectives, in order to identify growth opportunities
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to customer account management
- Keep abreast with federal and state regulatory requirements potentially impacting clients’ businesses and the company’s technology solutions
- Manage the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team regarding product direction and productive solutions
- Act as liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts; manage ongoing conference calls and ensure a positive relationship with assigned accounts
- Serve as a subject matter expert for projects associated with client accounts, including product implementations, support and maintenance issues
- Oversee day-to-day client interactions and expectations
- Work collaboratively to provide customer perspective on product and process requirements development (relating to product roadmap and customer experience)
- Conduct project management, as required
- Manage critical requests or issue escalations as needed
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly and/or quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
- Builds and directs a more complex relationship platform by identifying senior contacts within targeted clients to achieve profitable sales and Altruista’s product breath growth
- Builds enhances and maintains effective relationships with more complex client organizations to ensure a high level of client satisfaction, retention, increase sales revenues and profitability
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of existing/targeted clients including market segments, how they operate, and/or their value proposition(s)
- Develops, maintains and executes complex client relationship plans to ensure overall service needs are satisfied and achieve the business/profitability/retention objectives
- Support retention efforts & looks for opportunities to cross sell/ partner with internal stakeholders
- Act as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders and consults on complex relationship management/sales solutions to optimize client satisfaction and achieve desired business results
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field highly desirable
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience as an account manager or other relevant experience required, preferably with a technology company providing enterprise-level solutions to large national customers
- Experience applying technology in solving business problems and to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with health plans and federal and state regulations pertaining to health care financing and delivery

Candidates for this position will be required to undergo a pre-employment background check. LOCATION/TRAVEL
This position is based out of Altruista Health’s headquarters located in Reston, VA
Candidate must be willing to travel to client locations throughout the United Sates on an occasional basis (25% or more).
