As a Sr. Technical Project Manager, your primary responsibility is centered around championing the use of business analytics. You’ll manage products that support the implementation of an enterprise-wide data warehouse strategy, the development, deployment, and adoption of business intelligence and reporting tools. Additionally, using your technical mind set to manage the delivery of reporting and analytics solutions. You’ll collaborate with internal customers, colleagues, business partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to review strategies, identify requirements, assess impacts to process and systems, and ensure solutions are successfully implemented and sustained.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the design implementation of the Nestle USA Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence systems (SAP Business Warehouse, Business Objects, and Azure)Collect business user requirements, systems technical design, system configuration, solution testing, implementation, and support for business analytics projects
- Ensure business users requirements are met for sustaining efforts, as well as for future go-live efforts.
- Oversee system maintenance of all schedule, reconcilement, and system performance management.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and stakeholders, and facilitate communications between the business users and the team.
- Provides consultation and technical advice on business analytics projects to ensure results meet negotiated customer expectations and adhere to internal standards and strategies.
- Responsible for ensuring production support teams are properly supported, guiding the team on projects, and guiding and influencing the design of the analytics solution to support the needs of business partners for all areas of Business Analytics.
- Manage the implementation of projects ranging from small, single stream initiatives to large-scale multi-stream efforts.
Basic Qualifications (Minimum):
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience (Years/Type):
- 7+ years of project and/or program management experience required.
- 2+ years of experience working with enterprise reporting systems and business intelligence solutions required.
- Experience managing multiple, large projects simultaneously preferred.
- Experience managing a large data warehouse environment preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Project preferred.
- PMP certification preferred.
Skills:
- Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale application development projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
- Practical knowledge of information technologies and methodologies; specific knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional databases and related business intelligence software.
- Familiarity with Business Analytics software tools and vendors
- Experience implementing and supporting complex network solutions in support of enterprise applications and systems
- In-depth knowledge of SAP’s Business Objects, BI Tools, Universes, and integration with Business Warehouse
