Scrum Master

Vutiliti is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead our Development Team in Agile, Scrum-based software development. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills, technical knowledge, and leadership ability in a fast-paced, constantly evolving tech environment.

Duties

  • Work with teams to remove impediments blocking the completion of work or commitments
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Coordinate and prioritize software development tasks and backlog management with the Product Owner
  • Create and deliver training as needed and mentor team from a functional perspective to ensure delivery of tasks
  • Arrange, facilitate and lead standup, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
  • Enforce meeting schedules
  • Optimize team velocity by actively preventing and resolving issues and blockers
  • Track sprint metrics and maintain burndown charts
  • Represent the team at Release level and report status to leadership
  • Manage project management tool (Jira)
  • Inspire and enable the success of the team

Qualifications and Abilities

  • Certified Scrum Master – 3 years+ of experience (required)
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (required)
  • Experience working for software companies (hardware experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of SDLC
  • Determination to enforce process
  • Diplomatic communication skills
  • Ability to guide and direct meetings
  • Extreme ownership to solve impediments
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced tech environment
  • Attention to detail, organization and multi-tasking skills
