As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading gas utility projects. You will work with a cross functional project team to plan, design, construct, and close out projects. This work is vital for ensuring the safety and reliability of the gas pipeline system responsible for providing heat to families and businesses in our client’s service territories.
Responsibilities
- Place safety as the highest priority
- Attend project meetings to provide critical path updates
- Lead and facilitate meetings in a professional manner
- Communicate and coordinate with project team to complete projects by client deadlines
- Create, monitor, and update project schedules
- Create and update financial forecasts
- Monitor and control budgets
- Review and approve invoices
- Provide project status reports to clients
- Travel to project sites as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- At least two years of project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Construction Management or Engineering
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Utility, Construction or Telecommunications Project Management experience
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- May require 3- 6 months of training in our Atlanta office before final assignment in Naperville, IL
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
