    Responsibilities:

    Responsible for oversight of production facility and coordination of production demand with department managers. On-time deliveries while maintaining focus on quality is critical at Roswell. We are looking for a natural leader able to inspire and motivate teams to demonstrate world class behaviors and reach maximum production levels. Creates a work environment which promotes safety and leads the implementation of improvement in safety, quality, delivery and efficiencies.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: *

    • Works closely with the production schedule, document progress, delivery schedule, performance, quality systems, inventory position and review procedures on an ongoing basis.
    • Oversee department managers to ensure weekly production requirements are met, analyze and report on gaps or surplus while maintaining effective inventory program as per company policy.
    • Direct and coordinate various programs essential to manufacturing procedures (e.g., training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc.)
    • Holds direct responsibility for managing production of in-house products, overtime and effective budget monitoring and monthly variance reporting, identify and allocate resources
    • Aids in promoting a company culture, encouraging top performance and high employee morale
    • Communicates with all vendors, managers, and employees in a positive and professional manner
    • Communicate, monitor and control the effective plant expenditure on labor, materials and expenses against issued budgets, ensuring accurate performance and reporting via standard site documentation and tools, and/or written reports to COO.
    • Ensure the correct implementation of all related work instructions; maintaining visibility of work instructions, liaise and report on all matters of concern relating to production and delivery schedules, safety, work quality and production personnel performance.
    • Ensure that product quality and safety requirements are applied in accordance with Company and regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
    • Ability to “Coach and Mentor” team members by aligning with business needs. Performs annual performance reports with all direct reports.
    • Assures quality targets and manufacturing specifications are met or exceeded at every Department level
    • Must be available via phone for after hours plant support.
    • Briefs customers, officials and visitors on all aspects of respective manufacturing operations.
    • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

    **QUALIFICATIONS **

    • Preference to applicants holding Engineering, Industrial Technology or Business degree or equivalent (7 years manufacturing leadership experience)
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Operations/Lean Management, preferably with a manufacturing focus, multiple department operation.
    • Experience in implementation of complex Lean principles as they apply to manufacturing operations.
    • Formal Lean training preferred.
    • Ability to analyze problems and provide innovative solutions.
    • Proven success designing, implementing, communicating, and meeting KPI goals, including reducing supply chain costs, improving through-put, shortening cycle time, and improving inventory turns.
    • Expert Manufacturing leadership knowledge
    • Excellent proven communication and interpersonal skills
    • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
    • Experience with ISO 9000
