Position Summary:
Lead the development of Nestlé Development Center projects. These developments will be medium to large projects and may involve multiple markets, regions or zones. Must be able to manage project activities in full autonomy.
Primary Responsibilities:

Lead R&D projects from concept to launch.

Direct project approach, setup, status report and closing.
-
Drives project teams or cross discipline groups.
-
Ensure all deliverable are met as per NPDI (Nestlé Product Development & Introduction) process.

Effectively collaborates with product development lead on product/processes/experiments/trials.

Manage stakeholders
-
Keep current in the business aspects of the product category

Continues to develop project management skills

Contributions to the scientific/technical pipeline

Lead and train staff and operating personnel, as required.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications (Minimum Education, Experience, and Knowledge)
-
BS Degree in Food Science or Chemistry, or other related fields is required.
-
10 years of experience in food industry and manufacturing knowledge.
-
2+ years experience in leading and managing complex projects.
-
Knowledge in area of product development, food processing, including unit operations and microbiological/physical/chemical product alterations.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
PMP accreditation a plus
-
Aseptic and food service experience a plus.
