Plan, Direct, Control, and Coordinate the sales of the company air filtration products and solutions within the Retail Hardware and Grocery channel segments. Ensure sales results are in accordance with budgeted commitments to obtain maximum placement, profitability and volume. Continually evaluates and modifies the company’s channel strategy and sales action plans to meet both the company and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achievement of sales volume, product mix and selling price objectives in the Retail Hardware and Grocery channel segments by keeping current with market supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Develops and implements detailed sales action plans and programs; which includes an analysis of competitive products and selling strategy, market share, quoats, pricing, distribution, and programs.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies; and attending key customer and industry trade shows and events.
- Manage independent sales reps to deliver sales volume and profitability objectives.
- Recommends product modifications or improvements based on findings of marketing research, technical service work, or customer personnel feedback.
- Recommend and establish pricing policies by monitoring costs, competition, and market supply and demand.
- Develops Sales, Inventory, and Production forecasts of quantities, terms and conditions of sales as it relates to the Retail Hardware and Grocery channels.
- Effectively collaborates and communicates with all functional teams.
Technical Requirements:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP a plus.
- Experience with SalesForce.com a plus
Knowledge/Experience:
- 10 years of relevant selling experience
- Understanding and direct experience with consumer good product selling, pricing, negotiating and channel management
- Ability to effectively communicate and sell both products and value concepts at all organizational levels.
- A history of consistently delivering on expectations for growth and profitability must be demonstrated.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in business or related field of study.
