  • Full Job Description

We’re an established and growing branding, digital marketing & technology agency in Winchester, MA. We feel lucky to partner with a broad range of fun and engaging clients to create big ideas and carry them all the way through end-to-end digital technology and marketing programs.

We’re seeking a Digital Agency Project / Operations Manager who’ll be the glue that holds our fast-paced agency together, and so we’re looking for someone with beyond-exceptional project management and organizational skills.

(The title is flexible, we’ll build it around you and your experience.)

    In this role, you will:

    • Serve as our agency Traffic Manager / Digital Project Manager with responsibility for scoping, tracking, assigning, and reporting on agency and staff activities. You’ll understand what we’ve committed to, when, and you’ll be the person responsible for shepherding projects through their lifecycle.
    • Manage our agency’s outward-facing client contact/support. We have a wonderful account team who handles active project work for clients. You’d be responsible for other client touchpoints to help bring new clients and projects onboard.
    • Organize client and company events, from the strategy to the little details that make an event spectacular, we’ll look to you to pull it off with aplomb.
    • Manage our operations. We’ve just expanded into new space, and we’ve got some fun new projects in the works to provide new capabilities to clients (hint: studios are involved). This will be a really fun time for you to come in and help us translate our brand strategy into our physical environment, reinforcing our exceptional experience for both employees and clients/partners.
    • Manage our non-marketing vendors as our agency producer. You’ll work with our vendors (print, facilities, technology, materials, etc.) as the first point of contact to make sure we have everything we need to move at top speed as we fulfill client requests.

Why you want to work here:

Did we mention our clients are great and the work is thought-provoking? Beyond that, we’ve built a really fun, collaborative team (of humans + Hallie, our lovable office dog) that enjoys our work and each other. Sure, we take our work seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously, and our agency culture is supportive and growth-oriented. Although we all have a strong work ethic, we also commit to a healthy work/life balance for our team that’s sustainable for the long-term. We’ve got you covered with generous benefits, too: Blue Cross & Blue Shield health insurance, IRA/company match, life insurance, paid time off including sabbaticals, and ongoing professional development.

    Requirements:

Prior digital marketing agency experience is required. It’s really important to us that this person can contribute the wisdom and expertise gained in an ad agency/digital agency setting, and so this is a firm requirement. To be considered for this role, your experience must include traffic/project management/resource tracking and/or account management in an agency setting or in-house agency/digital marketing group with external clients. This person will be responsible for taking potential projects and helping scope/plan/track them throughout their lifecycle at the agency, and so, experience managing external client projects is also required.

    In addition…

    • We require that you have strong traffic management/ project management skills, be the group expert on project tracking and reporting tools, and come to the table with ideas (based on your current work) about how to create and manage an agency workflow.
    • We’d like you to have the presence to run team meetings productively and collaboratively, and to help champion and combine both individual team members’ needs along with those of the agency as a whole.
    • We need you to be the kind of person who keeps everyone informed, can communicate clearly and collaboratively, and is already ahead of issues/problems with an idea for resolution.
    • We look to you to be a self-starter; to figure out the unmet need and create a solution for it, to champion ideas and get people on board with timelines and plans.
    • We need you to be someone with a high level of “presence” who can represent the agency well, interface with clients seamlessly, and think on your feet at all times.
    • We’d like to trust and rely on you to keep our customers happy with outstanding customer service skills and prior experience working directly with external clients.
    • We need you to work quickly and effectively, build systems and processes that support efficiency, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • We’re a digital agency so it goes without saying that you have to love and be fluent in technology – (internally: Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Slack, etc.; with clients: all things digital, with major bonus points if you’ve had prior social media management experience.
    • We require that you’re a team player, a glass-is-full kind of person, and someone for whom no task is ever too small if it helps out the team or a client.
    • We’d like you to have at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3+ years professional experience.
    • Some travel will be required to client sites, events and conferences.
