Global Head of Sanofi Pasteur Quality Academy
(Swiftwater, PA; Toronto, CA; Lyon, FR; Marcy lâEtoile, FR; Paris, FR; Boston, MA) The Head of SPQAcademy is accountable for the Vaccines Industrial Affairs Global Quality education and training strategy to further develop the skills and competencies of our employees, prepare the organization for future growth and ensure compliance to GxP regulations. The Head of SPQAcademy will have 2 direct reports.
The Sanofi Pasteur Quality Academy (SPQAcademy) plays a critical role in achieving the Vaccines Industrial Affairs ambition of working together to become Best in Class. By having an educated workforce and a compliant training system we can achieve full Health authority confidence, have a reliable supply and be agile and cost effective. The SPQAcademy brings the collective knowledge of all 12 Global SP sites together to work has a harmonized network.
Key Accountabilities:
- Harmonize and simplify training procedures/processes and facilitate best practice sharing
- Establish and routinely track 5 Year SP Quality Academy Roadmap
- Chair the SPQAcademy CoE
- SP Business Process Representative on the Sanofi Global Personnel Qualification & Training Business Process network and other Sanofi education forums
- Identify and apply Industry and Regulatory trends where applicable
- Collaborate with the other Global Quality Department to incorporate education/competency requirements into the SP Global Quality strategy
- Define user requirements and continuous improvement opportunities for any IT Learning Management System
- Establish and routinely monitor SPQAcademy metrics, identify trends and preventative actions
- Manage the Global SPQAcademy team
- Assist sites in inspection preparation activities
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in relevant area of expertise (Learning & Development, Human Performance or Science)
- 10+ years experience in a Learning and Development role with demonstrated people development, training and engagement activities using modern approaches to education and adult learning techniques
- 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/vaccines/biologics industry
- 10+ years of people management
- 5+ years experience in a Quality System role with demonstrated practical application of CGMPs across worldwide health authority regulations
- Up to 50% travel including international travel is required
- Working from home is permitted, as agreed upon with manager
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years experience as an instructional designer or responsible for instructional design for instructor led training, eLearning and other digital learning methods
- 5+ years experience managing a global learning and development teams in the pharmaceutical/vaccines/biologics industry
- 5+ years experience in developing a global learning and development strategy
- 5+ years experience in human performance improvement methodology
- Experience with the deployment and management of an electronic learning management system
