  • Schedule, supervise, evaluate and train staff in cooperation with the administrative director

  • Assign teachers and students to classes

  • Student evaluation

  • Keep appropriate records of student attendance and evaluation

  • Create and maintain a Christian learning environment

  • Develop, implement, supervise and assess curriculum in accordance with acceptable New York State Department of Education Standards and the needs of students

  • Teach and inspire a love for the Bible, Jesus Christ, each other and the world at large

  • Teach traditional, Biblical family values

  • Attend church leadership meetings when necessary and give periodic reports to the Board

  • Keep parents informed as to the progress of the students

  • Periodically meet with and provide reports to the Pastor concerning the operation of the preschool, including information concerning enrollment, the budget, new programs, fundraising and other relevant issues or concerns

  • Work with administrative director to ensure compliance with the regulations of the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene

  • Work with the administrative director on fund raising projects and school trips
