- Schedule, supervise, evaluate and train staff in cooperation with the administrative director
- Assign teachers and students to classes
- Keep appropriate records of student attendance and evaluation
- Create and maintain a Christian learning environment
- Develop, implement, supervise and assess curriculum in accordance with acceptable New York State Department of Education Standards and the needs of students
- Teach and inspire a love for the Bible, Jesus Christ, each other and the world at large
- Teach traditional, Biblical family values
- Attend church leadership meetings when necessary and give periodic reports to the Board
- Keep parents informed as to the progress of the students
- Periodically meet with and provide reports to the Pastor concerning the operation of the preschool, including information concerning enrollment, the budget, new programs, fundraising and other relevant issues or concerns
- Work with administrative director to ensure compliance with the regulations of the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
- Work with the administrative director on fund raising projects and school trips
