Director of Nursing

Director of Nursing opportunity available for a mid-sized adult care facility in the Albany region. Our company is looking for a dedicated, energetic nursing professional to join our team. You will have the authority and responsibility for delivering excellent care to our resident population!

Some of the key responsibilities include:
Working closely with a team of professionals and para-professionals to provide clinical services and nursing care

Organizing and directing all aspects of the nursing department

On-boarding and oversight of new staff

Analyzing care and developing ways of improving services

Planning and ensuring staffing patterns and goals are met

Working closely with the medical team

Actively participating in the quality assurance program and leading improvement plans

Minimum Requirements

Unencumbered New York State Registered Nursing license

Demonstrated 3-5 years clinical care experience

Long term care management experience preferred

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent in experience and education

This is a full time, exempt status position. Hours vary but are generally 8am-4:30pm daily. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance options, life insurance, retirement plan and paid time off.
