Position Summary Description:

The Director of IT oversees and executes LSB’s information and overall technology strategies. As a member of the executive team, the Director partners with the management team in providing technology vision and leadership to LSB and its subsidiaries. This position advocates for technology and leverages information systems to streamline processes, enable reporting on results, and deliver new and integrated systems and tools to support LSB’s business activities.

Key Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for every facet of the company’s IT infrastructure and other technology resources. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set IT standards, policies, and vision for LSB Corporate and Subsidiary IT organizations
• Lead, develop, recruit and manage corporate level staff for following functional areas:
• Help Desk/Service Desk
• IT Management & Project Management
• Network Infrastructure & Telecommunications
• SOX/PCI/CFATS Compliance
• Application and database management
• Manage Corporate ERP and related applications
• Oversee the design and implementation of new applications, and changes to existing systems and software
• Provide support/expertise and prioritize IT needs in the areas of operations sales/marketing and finance
• Provide leadership to the organization around technology as an asset that helps the business achieve its mission and support its culture
• Evaluate and procure new hardware and software to meet company needs
• Select and manage vendor/partner relationships for technology products and services
• Manage and negotiate all IT related vendor contracts
• Manage CAPEX budgeting/planning and execution for IT related expenditures

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a relevant field, required
• Advanced degree in relevant business or technology discipline, preferred
• Fifteen plus years of Information Technology experience with increasing responsibilities
• Ten plus years of experience in a leadership role managing and developing people
• Five or more years of experience working in large cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively; capable of communicating complex technical topics to non-technical audiences to achieve desired outcomes
• Experience with JD Edwards, preferred
