Jotun Paints, Inc. in the US, has today 108 employees, and focus within the Marine and Protective segment. We are now looking for a Demand Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage and develop the supply of Finished Goods from Jotun Network factories and Toll Manufacturers to support the company strategy and relevant KPI’s.

Responsibilities and Duties
Drive continuous improvement of inbound Finished Goods to support company’s target for Working Capital
Ensure accurate inventory and availability of finished goods to support on time delivery of products to customers and ensure that KPI’s are in line with strategy
Working in a department of 3, Cross Functional working pattern, to support company’s operational output to Exceed Customer Expectations.
Drive continuous improvement in supply chain by working closely with suppliers to ensure that the company is becoming more efficient.
Main Tasks
Create purchasing plan & Purchase of imported and domestically supplied Finished Goods
Manage plan adherence and supplier performance.
Ensure company 3PL’s (logistic providers) receive all relevant documentation for inbound goods in advance of receipt.
Manage and develop solutions with Customs clearance objectives and final delivery
In conjunction with the SCM Team measure and control costs on Inbound Goods
Support Physical Inventories of FG and Reporting.
Coordinate the use of Contract Preview – Scope of Supply with cross functional depts.
Provide weekly, monthly, tertiary KPI’s to management reporting on progress of set KPI’s and targets.
Coordinate with the Sales Team, CSD Team, & Warehouse Teams to understand and resolve day to day issues / requirements with regard to product availability.
Monitor and develop Working Capital initiatives measuring performance and initiating actions.
Cross functional collaboration to ensure problem solving and delivery of services and improvement projects.
Work with Customs Brokers to ensure imported Finished Goods are delivered to the right sites in the US OTIF
Support the SCM Team in analysis of product assortment working with internal and external customers to support continuous improvement targets related to service, quality and profitability in order to exceed customer’ expectations.
Manage and develop cost control and measurement strategies by working cross functionally with other departments to meet agreed objectives
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience
Experience with IFS or similar ERP system desired
MS Office Experience
Experience in Demand Planning & Purchasing
Experience working with diverse cultures, in an International environment strongly desired
