Role: Electrical Construction Project Manager for medium to large scale commercial projects

What you bring to the table:

  • Electrical Construction experience
  • Extensive Project Management experience
  • Basic computer knowledge, ability to navigate in Outlook and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work as a team and individually with a positive and professional attitude
  • Capable multi-tasker able to execute the many tasks at hand effectively
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience

About you:

You’ve started in the Field, went on to Apprentice school and transitioned into office positions

Duties:

  • Review project requirements, specifications, and drawings
  • Responsible for 2 to 4 projects at a given time (up to $20 million-dollar projects)
  • Create and maintain project timelines for internal personnel external clients
  • Participate in project meetings to review progress and changes to scope of work
  • Provide accurate project revenue streams, including extra work items, change orders, credits; procurement of material
  • Reviews cost of construction and keep within project limits
  • Advanced mathematical skills to calculate and interpret and incorporate data
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask proactively to meet deadlines
  • Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting
  • Oversee pre-con meetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field
  • Set clear goals and expectations to foreman
  • Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns
  • When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects
  • Manage all jobs closeout procedures
  • Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement
  • Provide coaching/counseling to foreman and assistant project manager
  • Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 /year

Experience:

  • Electrical Construction: 5 years (Required)
  • Project Management: 5 years (Required)
