Primrose School of Natick is seeking a highly accomplished Assistant Director to join our 14-classroom privately operated and family owned preschool. This position partners closely with other School Leadership Team members in managing the daily school operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes and manages the daily operations of the school in partnership with School Director
- Takes responsibility for health & safety, accreditation and state licensing complianc
- Provides support to educators on classroom management, curriculum implementation and health & safety
- Supports the recruitment, selection and hiring of educators
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with owners, staff and families
- Commits to ongoing training and professional development for self and staff members
- Contributes to building community awareness and marketing of the school’s programs
Minimum Requirements for Consideration:
- A Bachelorâs degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or a Related Field
- At least 2 years of management experience at the Director level in a large group EEC licensed childcare center or the equivalent
- Director II qualified including Lead Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher
- Demonstrated experience with enrollment, recruitment, and operational excellence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong computer skills
