Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
Oversee Branch DC operations in alignment with operational KPI’s Safety, quality, On-time delivery, cost and efficiency.
Ensure visible performance against KPI’s are present in the warehouse locations
Review P/L monthly for each branch, by areas of responsibility and make necessary corrective action as needed.
Identify and lead productivity improvement projects to deliver service level and bottom-line improvements.
Work with local teams on and order accuracy
Oversee individual inventories concern levels, age and movement working with General Managers and Purchasing department.
Assist transportation management in managing daily operational issues (e.g. route optimization, hours control, equipment needs, compliance and reporting)
Oversee branch related trucking accidents, including investigations in determining cause and effect, employee welfare, DOT compliance and discipline and corrective actions as needed
Negotiate and manage all third-party cold storage leasing agreements with local team
Coach and develop management team and build succession planning.
Conduct and oversee performance management with branch personnel
Liaison with Human Resources and all branch General Managers as needed on contract/employee agreement issues
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures and assure branch locations comply.
Oversee USDA audits and compliance, assist in determining cause and effect and corrective actions as needed
Audit safety and housekeeping compliance while on location visits
Review and approve all branch expense reports
Lead on branch logistic options across branches to gain best utilization

Education and or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
College degree in related field preferred (e.g. Business management, etc.)
10 + years multi-site experience
7 + years distribution experience required
Food experience preferred
Accounting, budgeting and P/L experience required P
roficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required
