Overview
Foundational Platforms is a global team within the Service Management Platforms function, responsible for the strategy and development of the core cross-technology software tool sets of IT Service Management and IT Asset Management. These products are vital to frictionless processes that are reliant on golden source data, and to enable intelligent use and management of the application/service estate. Foundational Platforms is responsible for driving improvement in the governance processes and exposing the data necessary to capitalize on analytics and automation opportunities.

What You’ll Do:
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels in the organization to understand at a deep level the limitations and opportunities in improving our technology, data and processes
- Take full accountability for leading the analysis, design and implementation of business critical Service Management based technology projects
- Run disciplined Project and Program Management governance activities ensuring high quality execution, predictable outcomes and transparency
- Enable technical engineering resources to resolve complex problems through collaborative problem solving
- Ensure the ‘Architecture first’ principle is lived through strong technical design leading to sustainable and efficient solutions
- Manage, coach and develop a team of both internal and external staff
Skills You’ll Need:
- Extensive experience of delivering results through technology based solutions within a Global Financial Services organization
- Extensive experience of accountability for running projects delivering technical changes to the ServiceNow product (or market equivalent)
- Strong IT Service Management and development / engineering background with associated professional qualifications such as ITIL
- Experience of driving large-scale changes to working practices, with measurable impact to flow and business value
- Strong interpersonal skills, technical skills, problem-solving abilities and communication

- Experience of working closely and in partnership with senior business & technical leadership and understanding of contemporary and classical delivery methodologies, development practices and tooling
- Developing people / talent across technical and non-technical (competency and behavioral) dimensions
