Position Summary:

Reporting to the PMA Project Manager, this Clerk of the Works/On-Site Project Representative role is responsible for on-site observations and daily reporting on progress, as well as monitoring and coordinating testing and inspection services full time during the construction phase. In this role you will communicate and collaborate with the Owner/Architect/OPM team to ensure project integrity and a high-quality work product that consistently meets or exceeds the project’s contract documents, drawings and specifications. You will also maintain records at the OPM’s on-site field office including written and electronic correspondence, contract documents, change orders, change directives, reports, shop drawings, project data, and samples.


Position Qualifications

  • Knowledge of field construction project management typically acquired by a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years’ experience providing clerk of the works/on-site representative project support, or 3 -5 years’ field experience on construction projects valued in excess of $10M required.
  • Demonstrated abilities in verbal and written communications and in multi-tasking with a high degree of accuracy, and judgment required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
  • Demonstrated record of timely job performance in support of normally expected construction work hours including occasional Saturday work required.
  • Working knowledge of ProCore, Prolog, Timberline, ProjectWise, or other collaboration software preferred.
  • Direct construction trade experience or knowledge preferred.
  • Prior municipal/public works project experience preferred.
