K12 Learning Services Information Security Office is searching for a **Senior IT Security Project Manager/Scrum Master** responsible for project managing initiatives such as security policies and processes, security assessments, incident management, security awareness, and roadmap by employing an agile-based life cycle. The Senior Project Manager may also lead projects in various delivery models, such as fixed price in collaboration with vendors. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of security through continuous improvement while working with cross functional teams to increase the effectiveness, consistency, and transparency of our data privacy and security. The successful candidate will execute our shared vision into action by developing policies and process to drive an effective data privacy and security workflow and integration across disciplines.

**What you will be doing as your key responsibilities…**

Lead, participate, and execute projects to develop an information security program, using an Agile-based approach. This includes:

• Work jointly with IT Information Security, Data Privacy, Product Management and cross-functional teams to continuously improve our data privacy and security roadmap
• Develop and ensure data privacy and security policies are adhered to
• Facilitate security awareness and training and ensure tracking of completion
• Project manage data privacy and security incidents through resolution
• Develop and maintain data privacy and security process documentation, standards, and best practices
• Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning, as needed
• Support the development managers and team leads to remove roadblocks
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating data privacy and security information
• Responsible for communicating performance and executive reporting for assigned projects
• Adapt project plans, schedules, and resource assignments as required to respond to emerging requirements and risks

**Qualifications**

**What we are looking for…**

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant education and experience
• Knowledge and understanding of an Agile methodology
• Minimum of five years of Scrum Master experience in a security environment
• Minimum of five years of experience with managing projects using JIRA
• Ability to understand and respond to data privacy and security issues
• Experience project managing digital/mobile applications
• Experience with Microsoft Project or SmartSheet project management application
• Experience with educational software development a plus
• Computer security certification (e.g., CIPM, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CISP, etc.) a plus.
