DUTIES: Managing Citco Global Subsidiary Governance Services (GSGS) dedicated business development team globally. Proactively monitoring the financial performance of Citco GSGS on a monthly basis and controlling cost. Understanding the elements that income consist of, and taking corrective measures where needed in order to meet Citco’s financial targets; and ensuring good financial standing. Executing and ensuring adherence of applicable Citco policies, procedures, and internal controls. Fostering a favorable control environment in order to secure Citco’s assets and reputation and keeping the company in good standing. Monitoring adherence to large fee deals, client’s accounts receivable and business partner network negotiations, and taking measures to improve Citco’s financial targets. Contacting larger clients (together with the CRM) in order to achieve operational excellence and building long-term relationships. Developing client portfolio through marketing, both domestically and internationally. Proactively positioning Citco as a credible partner in local jurisdictions in order to contribute to the business development of Citco Governance Services by optimizing revenue and broadening Citco Governance Services. Following industry conditions and developments and translating those to the market (existing/prospective clients) in order to contribute to their needs and to enhance business relationships. Planning resource in-line with business demands in addition to participating in the recruitment and selection process. Leading, coaching, developing, and appraising employees in order to optimally manage, engage, and retain staff. Developing and updating technical skills and professional knowledge, recognizing training needs, and ensuring the development and exchange of knowledge among professionals within the team in order to realize the desired knowledge level within Citco GSGS. Following and ensuring existing work standards and procedures properly using internal/external systems. Initiating, proposing, and executing business and product development. Supervising 10 Business Development Managers, a Marketing Support Manager, and a BPN Manager. Requires 40% domestic and international traveling.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Legal Studies or foreign equivalent and 10 years of marketing experience including with customer and market dynamics and requirements of the global governance industry. Experience to include 10 years leading a global business development/marketing team and with global marketing campaigns in the governance industry. Also, required is experience with creating and generating new and innovative ideas resulting in new governance products that meet international demands; establishing competitive and profitable pricing strategies in a rapidly changing environment; meeting executives of multinational companies around the world (especially General Counsels) to discuss their challenges with global governance and providing them with solutions; speaking at conferences and writer of thought leadership articles; with global governance requirements and obligations; working with global Entity Management Systems, Board portals and governance tools; and global team management and leadership experience.
