The Regional Vice President of Operations is a regional executive who insures organizational operational, financial and, through collaboration with the sales team, sales goals are met within a designated region for Mobile, Fixed and Joint Venture sites estimated at between $70M and $100M in revenue. The RVP has full P&L responsibility and is responsible for delivering year-over-year net revenue growth and profitability in a designated region. This includes: strategic planning and execution, driving operational excellence, managing region business growth, managing same-store growth and logistics optimization. The RVP will work on the identification, planning, management and coordination of various operational initiatives and tactical plans, tracking operations performance against key performance indicators (and metrics) and coaching/mentoring Directors of Operations/Assistant Director of Operations personnel to ensure optimum team performance.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- The RVP will develop and delivery of the Region’s operations budget, the monitoring of Region operations performance and forecast to budget and the review of Region P&L performance. Supports the organization in building long-term strategic operations plans to drive operational excellence; leads Patient, Customer and Team Member satisfaction initiatives, balances Region’s resources to ensure effective implementation and execution of key initiatives, tracks and reports performance/progress to Senior Management.
- Develops and implements Region operational plans designed to impact performance trends favorably; analyzes and identifies opportunities to increase operational efficiencies tied to cost-control/improved bottom-line performance and standardizes best practices across the territory. Manages operations team performance, analyzes individual and team performance against key performance indicators and metrics, fosters an environment of candor and collaboration to address performance deficiencies and provides coaching/mentoring to ensure the highest levels of individual and team performance.
- Partners with peer leadership (Sales RVP) to develop regional growth strategies around sales, strategic account development and management related to “at risk” customers; supports Region, ops and sales teams in developing solutions tailored to meet the short and long-term needs of customer; ensures Region is exceeding its budgeted customer retention rate. Leads Operations Team through partnership with sales on strategic account planning activities; supports Team to cultivate consultative relationships with hospital C-level in the identification of mobile to fixed conversion opportunities and opportunity to add new service lines.
- Responsible for full HR lifecycle: recruiting, hiring, performance management, talent development, and termination of personnel. Partners with Region operations, where appropriate on staff actions related to performance or business needs. Other special projects/duties as assigned by Senior Management.
- Maintains Region regulatory compliance; monitors changes in applicable laws and regulations (OSPOD, OSHA, Joint Commission, NRC, DHS, ACR and/or other governing bodies), ensures Territory compliance with Territory’s quality and safety programs; ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred.
- Candidate must possess 10-15 years of experience in a Multi-Site, Multi-State Healthcare Operations Management role; healthcare service environment preferred.
- Prior Diagnostic Imaging experience is preferred, but not required.
- High level of accountability for considerable budget levels along with strong competency in financial reporting and analysis including at least ten years of direct P&L responsibility for a for-profit, multi-site, complex healthcare service organization.
- Strong experience in successful expansion development including new product and/or new location combined with a proven track record of implementing the expansion and operational plans focused on delivering both increased top-line and bottom-line performance.
- A history successfully engaging internal and external stakeholders (at various levels and across functions) on transformational new ideas; adept at moving senior management to action – strong influencing skills.
- Job requires travel.
