GLG is looking for a Regional Lending Manager-Vice President to service SE Texas (Houston), North Texas & Hill Country (Austin/San Antonio) who is prepared to make a difference in the lives of customers looking to buy a home or even refinancing. The Lending Manager will be responsible for new residential mortgages business sourcing from all referral sources including builders. Tasks include by talking to qualified, live inbound calls from company-generated marketing leads. They will be responsible for discussing the client’s needs, recommending the best loan products, helping customers put together a complete loan package and working with the underwriting /processing team throughout the loan process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Builds rapport and leverages customer relationships with existing and potential borrowers with the goal of meeting customer needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Analyze customers’ financial situations and provide the appropriate solution by advising customers as to the appropriate loan product for them.
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and follow up with multiple customers and work on multiple files each day.
  • Accept multiple live, qualified inbound leads daily.
  • Lock loans at the point of sale, request initial documents from the customer and submit an initial, paperless loan package to production staff.
  • Review active loan files each day to determine if any documents are missing or what can be done to help the process along
  • Structure and price loans accurately.
  • Ensure Complete Customer satisfaction
  • Operate as the key Point of contact during the process responsibilities including updating status, reviewing disclosures, presenting any counter-offers and going over closing statement prior to closing.

Desired Competencies:

  • 3+ years’ full-time loan origination experience, processing, Underwriting and or Real Estate Sales with Mortgage Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong desire to succeed with Great Service.
  • Ability to correctly and accurately structure and price loans.
  • Complete knowledge of conventional and government loan programs
  • Current TX NMLS license. (Must have pass National test & 20-hour lic. course.) One or Multiple licenses
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills.
  • Self-motivated, self-starting professional.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Truly independent mortgage sales professional.

Experience:

  • Licensed Realtor that’s Mortgage Financing Savy-High Producer that wants full control!
  • Current, Seasoned Processor, Underwriter or DE Underwriter is a plus
  • Mortgage/Realtor Engagement 2+ years
  • Aggressive Commission Compensation (Variable Compensation Only)
