The Project Manager will provide support in managing the creative workload and project prioritization for the Splendid Marketing department, based in Downtown Los Angeles. This person will be the bridge between the Marketing department, the Art Department and all internal stakeholders, and work daily with the art department to track project activity and ensure on-time delivery. The Project Manager will oversee marketing creative projects throughout the entire project life-cycle, from the initial request all the way to final delivery. In addition, the Project Manager must possess strong organizational skills, outstanding communication skills, the ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve questions. Every team member is accountable for embracing the department’s can-do attitude and expectations to execute extraordinary marketing programs.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update creative asset library, packaging and collateral creative files. Deliver new assets as they become available.
  • Manage projects across all of Splendid’s distribution channels including wholesale, full-price retail & outlet stores, Ecommerce and Licensing.
  • Traffic creative through project life-cycle, from initial project request form through delivery of final files to external vendors and/or internal project stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status updates to key stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Oversee Marketing creative timelines and due dates, proactively alert team members when projects may be in jeopardy to ensure team meets key deliverables on time & budget.
  • Compile weekly updates from Marketing team
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years project management and/or creative agency experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Creative Process for digital & print assets
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage shifting priorities & compromise with stakeholders when last-minute requests are made
  • Self-motivated, team orientated, resourceful and results driven
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with project management software applications such as smartsheets, Trello, Basecamp, or similar tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient graphic design skills in Adobe InDesign & Illustrator is a plus, but not required.
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • A passion for the fashion apparel industry
