    POSITION SUMMARY
    :
    • Responsible for developing the growth of all segments of the US Military foodservice against the Company plan to meet or exceed revenue growth and sales objectives. This position manages and develops profitable growth creating sales activities in a designated region focusing on food service opportunity within all branches and bases for the US Military.

    LOCATION(S):
    East Coast with Access to National Airport Preferably: Virginia (Norfolk / Richmond), Georgia (Atlanta / Columbus), Florida (Jacksonville), S. Carolina (Lexington / Columbia), N. Carolina (Charlotte)


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Ability to comfortably articulate core product line offerings to include the products or value added systems features and benefits that best fit the military.
    • Build relationships with current and targeted military accounts in an assigned territory.
    • Maintain/enhance a specific or targeted margin (set by customer or product line).
    • Penetrate new products into existing military customers & DLA Prime Vendor contractors.
    • Make frequent sales presentations to an individual or a group.
    • Ability to customize/adapt sales presentations to a specific customer or segment of the US Armed Forces.
    • Effectively interact with all key areas of the company.
    • Effectively interact with all key areas of the customer organization.
    • Maintain current account base.
    • Add new or incremental business to the national account department.
    • Participate in sales forecasting and budget related activities.
    • Formulate proposals that include all of the salient business points (win-win negotiating).
    • Represent the company at trade or customer sponsored events.
    • Communicate ongoing competitive market information.
    • Provide periodic sales reports, including volume, profitability and projected usage information to maintain transparency within the company and operations group.
    • Participates in all aspects of new program rollouts.
    • Participate in company efforts to innovate in the areas of beverage products and equipment solutions for the marketplace.
    • Manage customer expectations during the execution phase of the sales cycle.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
    • Reports directly to the Military Sales Director

    SUPERVISION GIVEN:
    • No direct reports, will frequently educate US Military needs internally


Qualifications


REQUIREMEMENTS / EDUCATION:
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 5 years of Regional or National Account Manager experience working for or representing a manufacturer
  • Preferred experience with custom product development working with Military accounts
  • Preferred beverage sales system experience
  • Must be willing to travel 60%. Company vehicle is provided

    Has thorough knowledge of the Military Foodservice industry, and what it takes to penetrate this business segment.
