We are seeking a Product Portfolio Manager to be located in our Stamford headquarters. This position supports Nestle Waters’ direct-to-consumer delivery service business, ReadyRefresh and reports to the Director, Demand Generation. The ReadyRefresh business is in the midst of an unprecedented transformation with the goal of delivering exponential growth. A critical contributor to achieving success is our ability to provide our customers with a range of water dispenser solutions.

Specifically, the Product Portfolio Manager managing the water dispenser portfolio of products through strategic planning, analytics and rationalization. Work with key stakeholders to provide a holistic view of current offerings and opportunities. This position plays a key consumer-centric role in creating product assortment to continue to grow the ReadyRefresh business to increase customer lifetime value.

Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in defining strategies and plans that deliver portfolio growth, based on consumer and shopper need states
  • Assist in developing and maintaining optimal assortment (including SKU rationalization and new item introductions)
  • Provide insights and recommendations to inform product strategies
  • Monthly business planning & management: Primary point of contact for forecasting, gap closure with supply chain and sales
  • Commercial plan: Work with cross functional teams to facilitate consumer-driven situation assessment. Contribute to development of GTMG, align with key stakeholders on key initiatives to be delivered in the AOP
  • Consumer promotions: Lead development of demand generation for the AOP including promotions, upsell/cross-sell plans. Work cross-functional to establish goals and hand-off to campaign manager for execution (creative development and implementation). Includes spearheading development of selling stories to enable sales
  • Prioritization, trade off analysis, and change management based on shopper insights and business cases
  • Responsible for analyzing consumer needs, competitive trends and gap analysis for product assortment

Qualifications


Key qualifications for this position include but are not limited to:
  • BS degree with major in Marketing required
  • MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in a category management, preferably with experience product portfolio management
  • Advanced experience with standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience in analysis and creation of the strategy, financial realization, and various other leadership team materials for senior leadership
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to lead diverse and cross functional groups, including strong relationship management skills
  • Keen project management skills with an ability to interact with and motivate others to succeed on several fronts simultaneously
  • Prioritizes workload and meets deadlines for a variety of marketing “deliverables”
  • Effective verbal and written communication on all levels and both internally and externally
  • Strong analytical, technical and mathematical abilities
  • Demonstrates initiative with a results orientation, while exhibiting strong drive and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated, analytical, quick learner, organized, detail-oriented, multi-tasker
  • Minimal travel required
