    Position Purpose:

    This role is responsible for managing the operational, financial, quality and regulatory compliance of multiple Hometown Health locations and sites in Southern Nevada. The Operations Manager is responsible for supervision and guidance of all staff at these sites, ensuring that proper coverage is maintained and that appropriate working conditions are provided. Person in this position will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day facility operations and that all regulatory and compliance monitoring are met with regard to Hometown Health products.

    Nature and Scope:

    The Hometown Health Operations Manager works collaboratively with other leaders within Hometown Health such as Customer Service, Reimbursement Services, Marketing and Sales, Network Services and other areas; Hometown Health Directors, Hometown Health support staff and Hometown Health Senior leadership to ensure the successful operation of high quality, efficient offices and operations. This position ensures the implementation and adoption of best operational practice, monitors performance of staff and compliance with regulations such as CMS Medicare Advantage Call Center standards and Claims processing standards, and is responsible for analyzing performance in order to make informed recommendations for continuous improvement. The Operations Manager must be able to successfully communicate across a wide spectrum of audiences, lead change initiatives, have strong organizational skills and be able to function effectively with multiple priorities.

    The responsibilities include but not limited to the following areas:

  • Responsible for managing and tracking of all staff, trainees, volunteers in Southern Nevada offices in coordination with direct leaders. Able to interact with and supervise team members in a collaborative manner.
  • Oversight of staff availability by working with and collaborating with direct leaders from other operational areas so that staff are scheduled and onsite each day. Provide staff observation and supervision on a regular basis. Share observations and recommendations with direct leaders, including assistance with evaluations.
  • Coordinate efforts with Operations Leaders and other Directors to promote appropriate workflow.
  • Ensure that all standard operational procedures are followed and up-to-date and available for review at all times.
  • Manages site specific day-to-day functioning, provides leadership support, supporting staff morale and teamwork. Also responsible for Facility compliance and environment, including supplies and resources.

  • Responsible for hiring and evaluating administrative staff with input to direct leaders on other operational staff at sites managed by Operations Manager
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines and agencies
  • Continually evaluates operations, analyzes processes and initiates changes
  • Financial Management:
  • Assists with budget plans for each site
  • Compiles data, analyzes, and makes recommendations for increasing productivity
  • Monitors monthly expenses for each site, in part by maintaining cost-effective personnel and supply utilization
  • Develops and implements cost-effective policies and procedures for all operational areas
  • Meets with direct leaders regarding their operational budgets and expenses and provides input on how site operations impact department budgets.

    Minimum Qualifications: Requirements – Required and/or Preferred

    Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree required or management experience in a related field may be substituted for undergrad requirement on a year for year basis. MHA or MBA strongly preferred. Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.

    Experience:

    Minimum two (2) years administrative management experience, preferably in a healthcare environment or related field, or experience in finance or business development in a healthcare institution. Health Insurance experience strongly preferred.
