  • 7+ years’ experience recruiting, hiring, building, coaching and developing teams Technical Content Designers

  • Experience managing all phases of the curriculum development process including Analysis, Design, Learning Objectives, Development and Publishing of all courses.
  • Experience owning, developing, managing and iterating on a large Technical and Sales product portfolio
  • 7+ yrs experience managing content development resources effectively to meet project timelines
  • Track progress of projects and communicate project progress and status to multiple stakeholders
  • Quality controller for all content developed, process and template utilization, file management. Ability to maintain and manage curriculum infrastructure and collateral.
  • Utilize development tools and processes to increase capacity and speed to market

The successful candidate will be a builder who has a passion for developing content and delivering relevant training. Content should be readily available anytime, anywhere and on any device. The content should follow aviation and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities & Key Attributes

  • Strong Leadership: Lead and manage a high performing team of training & enablement content developers
  • Technology Centric: Candidate will be technology savvy, and he/she will have utilized technology to create innovating training solutions, and they will be comfortable using technology to manage and prioritize the workloads of their team, ensuring that the workloads are balanced across all team members
  • Customer & Stakeholder Obsessed: Successfully collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to build, create, and manage the product roadmap
  • Focused on Innovation: Develop new, innovative strategies to develop high quality, technical content
  • Ownership: This Leader will own & manage all content development and delivery processes and mediums to the field, from content creation to execution and delivery
  • Strong Ability to Build Relationships and Earn Trust: The successful candidate will be able to meet a variety of stakeholders and build strong relationships with a variety of key partners, including: 1) External, customer-facing curriculum teams to ensure alignment and correct use of resources, 2) Subject Matter Experts, 3) Embedded Teams in each Region
  • Dive Deep: The successful candidate must be able to get into the details, manage multiple projects concurrently, monitor activity, progress and time related to project completion. Effectively balance workloads across all team members. Leverage external vendors as needed to ensure that all work is completed on-time, on-budget and according to our customer promise dates

Export Controls License
This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

  • Experience developing courses in all modality types, eLearning, ILT & Virtual Training
  • Experience Managing Complex Lab Set-ups and Lab Development
  • Experience working directly with product & engineering teams building relationships (SME’s) to partner with the team.
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
