- Inspire our partners & customers by following a proven innovation process and developing and commercializing new equipment for Nestle Coffee Partners.
- Understand the market and research technology and trends that impact equipment and beverages.
- Work with the finance team to develop the technical business case to meet the equipment cost of ownership and other identified hurdles.
- Work with the sourcing and equipment supply chain team to ensure we develop equipment that meets the financial requirements for the business case.
- Provide field support including technical presentations for sales and customer meetings.
- Design and conduct designs of experiments as needed to meet project deliverables, working with suppliers to develop prototypes, developing machine settings for flavor profile, leading tastings to evaluate and approve beverage quality, and running analytical tests to ensure equipment meets agreed upon requirements.
- Support field testing of equipment to ensure successful deployment of the equipment program.
- Support commercialization of equipment and supplier manufacturing facilities.
- Evaluate suppliers and lead technical qualification of suppliers to adherence of our quality and reliability standards.
- Understand and ensure equipment is certified and tested to national, state, and local regulatory requirements for food safety, electrical safety, and other required
- Create processing and product specifications and ensure that products and processes meet quality assurance, safety and risk assessment requirements.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and the field organization to bring product to market, including the identification of potential new suppliers
- Develop project work plans and cross-functional timelines, manage project information and update cross-functional team, management and senior leadership.
- Provide technical input to cross-functional team by sharing key technical hurdles and deliverables.
- Potentially manage other team members, guiding them through project work and supporting their career development goals.
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role the candidate will be responsible for management of equipment development and commercialization projects for foodservice, office, and marketplace. The ideal candidate will be experienced in an equipment/product development role, be able to work across multiple functions, and will be experienced presenting across all levels of an organization from senior leadership to the customer.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years managing technical projects in a cross functional environment.
- Proven record of experience in management of equipment or technical product development projects.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, to drive to quick decisions while bringing others along in the process.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with development of engineered hardware and equipment.
- Experience working in a matrix environment, able to collaborate cross functionally and show up as a leader.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
