As an IT Service Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role for our organization’s future success in the adoption of new technology as well as the implementation of business process architectural documentation related to high visibility technical projects being carried out across the organization. You will work hand in hand with product owners to establish the vision of products new to the market with a focus on developing strategies and associated documentation, which can be used to communicate the status of projects to all invested parties.
From our Nestlé Waters HQ in Stamford, CT you will manage the internal service delivery process as well as internal client stakeholders in the end-to-end implementation of enterprise technology (IaaS, PaaS, Cloud, Machine Learning, Streaming Analytic platforms, etc.) within a global environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Project planning activities such as: Collaboration with Project Managers and Portfolio Managers; Summaries of active project requests, priority, & approval status, review hardware projections; share top-down IT strategy plans & progress; Collect bottom-up IT needs & requirements
- Ensures continuous improvement efforts, including root cause analysis and service improvement plans, are performed and communicated with the operating company
- Prepare and deliver “IT Quality Reviews” and “Service Quality Reviews” for your assigned market
- Focus on IT-related key concerns and issues; own the execution of improvement action plans
- Identify and bridge gaps in systems processes and existing solutions
- Work with product owners to improve business/service processes, identify redundancies, and promote collaboration across the organization
- Assist in coordinating internal improvement tools and initiatives; facilitate sharing of best practices between operating companies
Must be willing to relocate or reside in Stamford, CT. Relocation assistance provided for those who qualify.
Travel 15% or as business needs require.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution
Experience:
- 7 or more years of experience working within IT Management with a focus in Incident, Infrastructure, Operations or Service Delivery role
- Enterprise systems support experience demonstrating a high level of responsibility supporting corporate applications, infrastructure, and/or network
- Experience with managing complex ITS projects/programs for a medium to large company
- Experience in the implementation and advocacy of various methodologies and associated frameworks such as ITIL / ITSM, Agile SDLC, and related processes and tools
Skills:
- PMP or comparable related certifications
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a Receiver Obsessed environment!
- Demonstrate strong abilities in effective business relationship management while managing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
- Successfully develop and implement applications in new computing architecture environments, using new and emerging technologies
- Established ability to manage multidiscipline, high-performance work teams and development groups focused on service management activities
- Proven competency in the execution of multiple projects, including managing resources across multiple projects and programs to meet delivery and service goals
