Description

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director of Demand Gen will lead a team tasked with lead generation and marketing funnel optimization. Using marketing tactics such as content marketing, search engine optimization, social media, landing page conversion testing, online advertising, and email marketing, you will grow our database and overall company revenues.


What you’ll do

  • Lead a team of marketers to drive key business metrics including leads, MQLs, SQLs and Opportunities.
  • Work in tandem with sales and product to build a scalable and profitable B2B approach to acquisition.
  • Work with the product marketing team to build and optimize a lead generation content strategy based on buyer personas
  • Scale the team as needed through hiring and training.
  • Set team strategy through analysis of historical marketing data.
  • Own relationship with the sales development team and forge strong communication and service level agreement (SLA) between marketing and sales development.
  • Optimize the lifecycle funnel to nurture leads with targeted content.
  • Participate in lead forecasting and planning through marketing attribution analysis.


What you’ll need

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience owning and being accountable to the return on paid ad spend, building pipeline and hitting targets in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency with the following acquisition channels: Paid Search (Adwords, Bing), Paid Social (Facebook, LinkedIn), SEO, Display & Remarketing.
  • Experience with marketing automation & CRM tools (eg Hubspot, Salesforce).
  • Firm understanding of structuring content strategy to fulfill the buyer journey.
  • Leadership experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You must be analytical and able to extract meaning from data and use this to optimize the team’s approach.
