Admissions Coordinator â Fayetteville, NC
We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated person to become our Admissions Coordinator. This position will be responsible for promoting us to hospitals, physicians and prospective residents. Duties include educating people regarding the capabilities of our facilities, visiting discharge planners and physician practices in their offices, hosting community events within the facilities, making presentations to civic and community groups and developing presentation and promotional materials in support of these tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in the rehabilitation and long term care industry.
Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare as an admissions coordinator, social worker, discharge planner or similar position desired
- Experience in long term care, especially skilled nursing facilities desired
- Knowledge of the financial aspects of skilled nursing including Medicare, Medicaid and Private
Insurance desired
- Experience with Electronic Health Record software, AHT preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Personable with neat appearance
- Excellent communication skills
- Self starter and ability to work independently
- Valid driverâs license and reliable transportation
