Position summary
The Marketing Director is responsible for creating and leading deployment of strategy for seven brands across multiple categories: NIDO 1+ (Growing up milks), La Lechera, Media Crema, Milo (Dairy), Maggi (Food) and Abuelita, and Carlos V (Confectionery).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll partner closely with the cross-functional leadership team (Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance, Sales, CMI etc.) to drive the right go-to-market strategy and plans that fits both with the corporate objectives and with trade realities, interests and needs. Build and cross-functionally deploy Category Strategy (GUMs, Sweetened condensed milk, hot cocoa and ambient culinary). Lead the build and execution phases, and ongoing management, of experiential marketing programs to achieve brand health critical metrics and deliver incremental business volume. You will develop channel and customer-specific shopper plans to drive category growth, and recommend effective organization of demand generation plans to Marketing VP. You will be the SBU Interaction Owner with the four SBUs (Dairy, Nestlé Nutrition, Food and Confectionery)
COLLABORATIVE COMMERCIAL PLANNING
- Support Consumer Marketing Managers and relevant CSD resources in developing demand-generation plans and budget allocations for the upcoming year.
- Own key line items within P&L for brand/category
- Work with finance and cross-functional team to ensure financial targets and growth objectives are met.
- Work with CSD/Sales to identify and implement scale programs
INSIGHTS
- Develop the overall learning plan for a brand/category, including consumer and shopper insight explorations, to fully understand the needs for the brand and category
- Collaborate with Market Research on the Insight Learning Plan to ensure the foundation of all brand activities is sound.
INNOVATION & RENOVATION
- Support Consumer Marketing Managers in creating the “go-to-market” plan for new products and integration of such propositions into long-term strategies and category roadmaps.
COMMUNICATIONS PLANNING AND AGENCY WORK
- Responsible for the working relationship for our five brands with PFME investment (NIDO, La Lechera, Maggi, Abuelita, Media Crema) with key Agency partners.
- Input into and approve creative briefs for brand/categories with external agency partners.
- Oversee marketing plan activation (including advertising, promotions, websites, mobile, CRM, email, blogger, advocacy, etc.) as well as Agency, project and budget management.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Manage a team of three Consumer Marketing Managers and seven associates
- Lead, develop and inspire team of employees to exceeding high performance targets
- Conduct the performance management process, working with each team member to evaluate performance, provide feedback and training.
- Work with your team to build appropriate development plans and ensures that the training activities achieve agreed upon objectives.
- University Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or related discipline. MBA in Marketing is Preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Marketing Manager.

- Ability to develop clear strategic plans and communications plans for all brands.
- Held a leadership position on a key brand or portfolio within a company.
- People leadership experience with strong ability to build a high performing team, demonstrating speed, agility, teamwork and courage culture drivers.
- Work on multiple brands and a rotation through sales, CSD and/or the COE is desirable.
