Director Engineering – Meshify

The Director of Engineering will lead and grow the engineering team to expand the platform. Oversee the conception of solutions, building consensus and the selling and execution of such solutions. Ensure that the day to day development stays on track and that our engineering team stays motivated and focused.

Required:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years’ experience as a Software Developer, Team Lead, and Chief Architect.
• 10+ years’ experience in SaaS, Microservices, Cloud and Containers.
• 10+ years’ experience in Web Client Applications.
• Experience with service-oriented and event-driven system architectures
• Leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to lead a team.
• Knowledge of the following systems: Go (Golang) backend services, React frontend applications, PostgreSQL, ScyllaDB (Cassandra), Kubernetes & AWS.
• Ability to build high-performance distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and oral communication.
