CTO and Chief product officer

Shoptaki is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO)/ Chief Product Officer (CPO) to provide technical/product leadership in all aspects of the business. The CTO/CPO should be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts as they will play an integral role in setting the company’s strategic direction, development, and future growth. The CTO/CPO will oversee all development and be responsible for technical architecture and maintaining platform health. As in-house development progresses, the CTO/CPO will have a chance to set the culture and define skills for a team of engineers. The position is remote based and U.S. authorized.

Responsibilities

• Leading the continued development of the MVP by working with development firms and eventually contract to hire and build out an in-house team.

• Developing the Shoptaki’s strategy for using technological resources and creating policies

• Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably, and securely

• Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure

• Building product roadmap and architecture

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Data Science (A.I, Deep Learning,etc..) and Data Engineering (required)

• Knowledge in Distributed Technology (required)

• Start-up experience preferred

• Full Stack development with proficiency in C++, Python, etc.

• Experienced with deploying and managing infrastructures based on public Clouds such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

• Ability to adapt. An ideal candidate will welcome the opportunity to solve a broad range of problems using a wide array of technologies.

• Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities and general growing pains of an early-stage technology company

• An exceptional entrepreneurial judgment that fosters independence over micro-management

• Knowledge in the Banking systems and overall Financial industry is preferred

• Strong work ethic and ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced work environment

Compensation
