Western Technologies Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer / Project Manager with interest in construction materials testing and inspections in Tucson, Arizona. This position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience performing and supervising field and/or lab testing of concrete, soil, aggregates, asphalt, special inspections, and other construction materials. Civil Engineering degree with geotechnical and environmental experience preferred but not required. Responsibilities includes preparing daily reports, documenting test results, field reports, proposal preparation, client development, assist Laboratory Manager with maintaining AMRL / CCRL / ADOT accreditation and perform scheduling of technicians.

B.S. in Civil Engineering or ability to obtain certification in the following areas:
American Concrete Institute (ACI)

  • Field Level I
  • Lab Level I
  • Strength Testing
ATTI Certifications:

  • Asphalt
  • Soil / Aggregates
  • Field
