Position Summary: Under the direction of the Sr. Vice President of Operations & Integration, the VP, Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable throughout the Children?s Dental Management network. This position will ensure maximum efficiency and incorporate industry best practices throughout the revenue cycle. This position will be involved in payer contracting and credentialing, and may provide oversight in these areas.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop unified processes and procedures, and direct daily operations to meet expected KPIs.
  • Monitor performance and develop processes towards continuous process improvements, especially leveraging technology where applicable.
  • Develop and manage the team to KPIs that drive business growth.
  • Develop daily workflows and expectations of team to ensure successful completion of tasks and management of AR.
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across departments as needed, especially with Finance/Accounting and Contracting/Credentialing.
  • Ensure quality standards are achieved through a formal quality audit program.
  • Mentor and develop team of supervisors and managers.
  • Establish and maintain meeting cadence within the department and with direct reports to ensure collective efforts to reach department(s) & company goals.
  • Maximize utilization of software functionality, and provide recommendations on bolt-on technology.
  • Develop plans & execute implementation of any process improvements, ensuring no disruption to service or performance.
  • Manage department within budgetary limits.
  • Monthly review of AR statistics through formal reporting.
  • Manage team through payer issues, and incorporate the credentialing/contracting team in solutions.

  • At least 10 years of revenue cycle management experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications – spreadsheets, word processing, and database management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Excellent presentation skills
