SEO Manager

Steel Supplements Inc seeks a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager with experience in driving organic traffic through the on-site and off-site (link building) to create a high brand rank. The successful candidate should have an intimate understanding of how our website functions from all aspects, especially within an e-commerce based company and the importance of SEO and content implementation accordingly. We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal SEO Manager will be able to hit the ground running as soon as they are brought on board and educated accordingly about the brand. Applicants with 3 years experience leading e-commerce brand(s) and creating strategic SEO strategy with proper optimization, will be given prime consideration.

Essential Functions

1. Serve as SEO Manager of a fast-growing company, Providing support

in the area of increasing organic reach, off-site link building and day-to-day management.

2. Continuously measure and optimize website rank while also establishing benchmarks and recommending the future strategy.

3. Use the latest SEO tools such as BrightEdge and Google Search Console to monitor, analyze and optimize traffic, SERP ranking.

4. Attend meetings on a regular basis to provide updates on new methods and be

updated on upcoming projects.

5. Create a dashboard to monitor performance and guide optimization decisions.

6. Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels to improve rankings, ad create execution plans for link building

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office

equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening

and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or equivalent field) or 3 Years of Experience

2. Minimum of 2+ years experience working within the Shopify platform.

3. Deep understanding or expert level of SEO

4. Strong Knowledge of Google’s ranking algorithms, Google webmaster tools, and core SEO principles.

5. Strong knowledge of Google Marketing products such as Analytics, Tag Manager and Search Console.

6. Understanding of HTML, CC, and JavaScript

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Experience with Shopify and WordPress

3. Experience with HTML, CSS, Version Control and Javascript

4. Google Analytics Experience
