The NIKE, Inc. Supply Chain team is the engine that propels product around the world. Supply Chain experts ensure that every year, almost a billion units of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time. To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.
- Drive various improvement initiatives from problem definition to implementation completion.
- Support operations by understanding root causes and defining the best solution for various warehouse and distribution problems.
- Define success and delivery criteria, and monitor and report results against the criteria set.
- Lead project risk, budget, and schedule to ensure completion on time and with ROI.
- Support PMO director in defining, implementing, and maintaining program management strategies, procedures, processes and methodologies.
- Support the management team in driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop teamwork, strategic alignment and integrated planning and execution across different functions in a matrix organization.
- Facilitate discussions on complex topics to drive transparency and understanding among a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Bachelor degree and minimum of five years relevant work experience, project management experience required
- Strong Project Management Acumen, with excellent grasp of Program Management Methodologies including project risk management.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of supply chain operations, transportation experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast – paced environment, and anticipate the needs of a changing landscape.
- Capacity to anticipate, comprehend and manage project dependencies across other initiatives in the network.
- Good Change Management / Transition skills.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
