SCSEP Project Director – Portsmouth

VANTAGE Aging is seeking a qualified individual to provide overall supervision and administration of an employment training program for older adults in an assigned Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) territory. The Project Director provides employment training, skills development, and individualized career/employment counseling for low‐income individuals age 55+ that results in unsubsidized employment. Additionally, the Project Director develops and maintains positive working relationships with community partners to enhance training and resolve barriers to employment.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in business, education, social sciences, or a related field required, and at least 3 years work experience; experience in supervision, training, job development, marketing and/or employment counseling preferred.
LOCATIONS: Portsmouth, OH – covering Scioto, Adams, Brown, Pike, Ross, Hocking, Vinton, Jackson, Meigs, Galia & LawrenceCounties
STARTING WAGE RANGE: $38,610 – 42,500 annually
STATUS: Exempt
AUTHORITY AND RELATIONSHIPS: Responsible to Director of SCSEP
HOURS: Full‐time position.
