Our client is looking for a Scrum Master to join the R & D Team. You’re joining a multidisciplinary team of product directors, product managers, and digital analysts to create product listings across the top eCommerce marketplaces.
The Scrum Manager will lead the Freestyle team and development partners with a well-defined Freestyle software/Hardware development life cycle process. This would include processing definition, Agile Scrum based Software development, Hybrid Agile based module development along with cross functional communication, Technical Project Management, requirements traceability, source code control, test case management and defect tracking management and/or understanding. This position leads the multiple PODs for a mix of projects with multiple Agile teams and provides clear resource loading of team and capacity planning. This position also represents the team to report status of multiple Agile feature teams to leadership.
We are preferred supplier to 7-Eleven. This position may be available for conversion to full time employment upon successful evaluation of performance. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, eclectic environment of talented professionals who are leading the industry in digital capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Implement processes, practices, and tools allow for multiple paths of delivery. I.e., create simplified, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible methodologies
- Recommend improvements and drive alignment across the Freestyle Engineering & Innovation organization
- Serve as a Coach and Mentor within the organization and for multiple horizontal functions as design, testing and Product management
- Lead and influence others including those more senior on best practices
- Manage partnerships with external vendors and accounts team for relationship management with vendors, procurement team and accounting teams
- Lead multiple Agile teams on SAFe methodologies with knowledge of embedded SDLC process
- Value Proposition: Knowledge of procedures used to demonstrate the MVP mapping and ROI of the solutions being worked upon
- Managing Supplier Relationships: Knowledge of and the ability to balance relationships with suppliers utilizing the appropriate level of oversight, probing and persistence to achieve win/win outcomes
- Basic Project Management: Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to apply the principles, tools and techniques to develop/plan, manage or execute projects or work plans to ensure successful completion (e.g., on time, within budget).

- Demonstrable experience of Agile Scrum Management
- Planning Experience
- Stakeholder Management, Negotiation & Communication Skills
- JIRA/Confluence experience
- Experiences in multiple industries is a plus
Experience:
- 5yrs + Scrum Master experience in any well-known environment.
- Having 2 years’ minimum experience in Budgeting, Accounting, Taxation and Payroll / HR
