    Operations Manager

    Roles, Responsibilities and Expectations:

    • Daily scheduling of personnel for the next work day. Candidate will need to take into consideration employees’ experience levels, qualifications, completed training and availability.
    • Order materials and chemicals for upcoming jobs
    • Coordinate logistics for 3rd party trucking for shipping of equipment and materials across the United States and Canada.
    • Maintain compliance with local, state and federal requirements for the Benicia facility.
    • Conduct audits of personnel on safety and time cards
    • Effectively communicate the personnel, equipment and chemical needs of the Supervisors/Project Managers for their projects.
    • Monitoring of the facility/yard for compliance and work activities.
    • Champion the safety directives of the company
    • Conducts the monthly safety meetings
    • Aid in hiring and retaining field personnel
    • Ensure all company and client policies are followed
    • Duties Can be subject to Change

    Educational Requirement(s):

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Two-year college degree

    Skills and experience:

    • 2+ years of dispatching and logistics management
    • Knowledge of refinery process equipment
    • Hazardous Materials Training 40 hr Hazwopper Training
    • Record keeping of employees
    • Experience with prioritization of tasks
    • Experience with safety consortium’s and CBT training centers, Extremely knowledgeable of OSHA and Cal OSHA regulations

    Please note: Prior industrial services Operations management experience is a big plus!!
